Our Programs
Scenic Acres provides several services for our clients. They include Home Habilitation, Service Community Learning, and Day Habilitation. See below to learn more about each program.
Home Habilitation
Home-Based Habilitation is a twenty-four-hour staffed service that is provided to individuals in our RCF, located in St. Olaf, Iowa, and our six group homes, located in McGregor, Strawberry Point, and Garnavillo, Iowa. This service assists individuals with improving their daily living by offering transportation to doctor appointments, including individuals within their community, and aiding individuals with short- and long-term goals to ultimately help them live in the community successfully.
Service Community Learning
Service Community Living is a service for individuals who live in their own home. Our staff will come to their home and help individuals with tasks that they struggle with such as budgeting, grocery shopping, and managing medications so that they can continue living on their own successfully.

Day Habilitation
Day Habilitation is a service that is located at Marquette, Iowa and is offered on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays. During Day Habilitation, individuals learn how to enhance their social skills, cognitive functioning, physical health, and emotional health. Not only does Day Habilitation offer those service, the service also offers individuals to be involved with their peers and also within the community by going on field trips. This is a great service that Scenic Acres offers to help individuals find their areas of interest and interact with others.
